Background

Victoria trained as an actor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and worked principally in theatre before moving into opera as a director, movement and drama teacher and choreographer. Victoria teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, the Guildhall School, and frequently collaborates with British Youth Opera and the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. Her work is focused around young and developing artists, enabling expression, agency and ownership of existing and newly created work. She continues to perform as an actor, mainly in collaboration with singers and musicians.
